Education

I am a proud Treetops alumni class of '07. I have a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Texas at Arlington and I am certified to teach EC-6th General, and 7-12 Social Studies.

Experience

I worked at a regular public school for one year before coming home to Treetops. I feel very privileged to be apart of the Treetops family.

Bio

Born and raised in Texas, I have lived in the DFW area for most of my life. Except for the two years in second and third grade I lived in a small town in Oklahoma. I first came to Treetops in high school. Coming to Treetops was the best decision I could have made for myself at that time. The small class sizes and the one on one time I was able to get from my teachers really allowed me to find my strengths and excel in ways I did not think was possible before. When I decided to become a teacher Treetops was my first choice. However, Treetops was fully staffed when I applied and I spent a year teaching in a public school before I was able to come back to Treetops.

This year I will be teaching 6th Grade English/ Language Arts, World Studies, and Art. We have a lot of fun in class and after class in the clubs and activities offered this year.
