Welcome to Second Grade!! This is my fourth year at Treetops and my fourth year teaching second grade! : ) I taught 6th grade in Keller ISD for 13 years before I discovered Treetops ...one of my best discoveries!
I grew up in Chicago and moved to Texas with my parents and siblings many years ago. I feel like a Texan and have had enough windy, cold winters in Chicago to last me a lifetime. I love hot weather and summers in Texas. I graduated from UTA with a degree in Criminal Justice and started my own family. After raising my kids, and helping in their schools for years, and substituting, I knew that teaching was calling me!
I have three daughters who are 34,33 and 31 years old and one son who is 28. I have 4 grandkiddos, Roman is 11 and goes to school in Burleson, Giselle is 7 and goes to school in Arlington, Ryleigh who is 4 and Madilyn is 2 years old. When I am not spending time with my family and enjoy reading, cycling and paddleboarding!
