Bio

It is hard to believe I am starting my 21st year of teaching. Over my last 20 years, I have taught in many different states across the U.S. I have been a military spouse for the last 25 years and have loved every minute of it. My husband retired from the Marine Corps recently and we are blessed to have settled back in the great state of TEXAS!

I received my undergraduate from Texas A&M University and I am a DIE hard Aggie fan! Football season is my favorite time of year. I received my Masters in Education from Nova University with a Reading Speciality.

We have 3 extraordinary children. Our oldest son is a freshman at Ranger College. Our middle daughter is a Junior and our youngest son is in the 8th grade.

This is my third year teaching Middle School Language Arts at Treetops. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Treetops family and look forward to an exciting year with my Middle Schoolers.

Teaching is not a job to me, it is my passion. My goal is to instill that passion in my students. I push my students and challenge them to new heights. Communication is the key to success and I look forward to joining you on  your child's educational journey.

Happy 2018-2019 School Year!
